notary terms of service

By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Identification Requirements

All signers must present valid, government-issued photo identification that complies with Texas law. For RON services, identity verification is completed through an approved online platform before notarization.

Witness Policy

Certain documents require witnesses.

• We may provide witnesses for $30 per witness upon request.

• Clients may provide their own witnesses.

• Witnesses must be disinterested and not benefit from the transaction.

• Receiving agency rules regarding witnesses will control where applicable.

Remote Online Notarization (RON)

Pricing:

Initial session $40, which includes platform access, identity verification, digital seal, and one notarization. Each additional notarization is $25.

Technology Requirements:

A camera-enabled device, stable internet connection, and quiet setting are required.

Recording:

RON sessions are recorded and retained as required by Texas law.

Missed Sessions and Failed Verification:

If a session is missed or identity verification fails, the platform fee is non-refundable. One reschedule within 7 days may be permitted.

Mobile and In-Person Services

Travel and After-Hours Fees:

Travel or extended hour fees may apply and will be disclosed at booking.

Wait Time:

A 15-minute grace period is included. Additional wait time may incur charges.

No Shows:

If we arrive and the appointment cannot proceed due to client-related issues, travel and time charges apply.

Apostille and Legalization Services

Scope of Service:

We prepare, submit, and track documents for international use. This may include presentation to the Texas Secretary of State, U.S. Department of State, embassies, or consulates.

Pricing:

Standard service begins at $225 for 4 to 5 business days and includes travel, one document, and one notarization. Each additional document is $100. Rush service options may be available.

Additional Fees:

Government fees, federal agency fees, embassy fees, shipping, courier, and translation services are additional unless otherwise stated.

Processing Times:

All timeframes are estimates and depend on government agencies and third parties.

Payments and Refunds

Payment is due at booking or at the time of service.

Notary fees are non-refundable once the notarization is completed.

RON platform fees are non-refundable once identity verification has been attempted.

For apostille services, cancellations before government submission may qualify for a partial refund minus incurred costs. After submission, service fees are non-refundable.

Disputed charges on valid services may be referred for recovery, including associated bank fees.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

Clients may reschedule once with at least 12 hours notice. Less notice may result in a fee.

We reserve the right to reschedule due to emergencies, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service in cases of suspected fraud, incomplete documents, lack of proper identification, unlawful requests, or inappropriate conduct.
